Tips for sunroom decor

I found it very convenient to add an extra space to any house in the form of a sunroom. The main advantage of the idea is that it extends your house into the outdoor environment, giving you an area of sun and light when you can grow plants and simply sit and rest. Moreover it is a perfect place for developing your hobby or even organising a professional art studio.

But first things first, before that you need to decide how you like to use your conservatory as a greenhouse, summer living room or art studio. The extension will become the way through to the backyard so choice flooring with care and decide for durable and washable ones.  I would suggest natural flooring on stone or slate, terracotta or quarry tiles. To soften the effect it can be matched with matting.

Safety goes first so use double-glazed panels, which can have insulated blinds sandwiched between the layers and a double layer of transparent roofing material. For vulnerable areas I would suggest laminated glass.

If you follow feng shui then it is good to consult the project with the right  interior designer and make sure that the new  dynamics of  energy flow.
