Born of the sensations
The three paintings was born of the sensations while connecting with nature and embrace the collection of “Reconnecting with nature” with is following my previous collection “Cast away” created in 2019/2020. “Reconnecting with nature” is a collection of oil paintings created after the challenging time of lockdown in Belfast city. During the changing seasons of 2020 I found a deep meaning and source of energy coming from a direct connection with nature. I felt like paint the pieces to raises awareness that we are a whole with the mistress of nature. As nature is an unlimited source of energy, the artwork is full of joy, light and sincerity which comes directly from connecting with the wonder of the world around us.
Story behind the three canvas
In the tranquil blue and yellow beach scene, a profound connection unfolded between two souls. The soft strokes of the artist’s brush conveyed the ebb and flow of their emotions, blending the blue of serenity with the vibrant yellow of shared laughter. The thickness of the oil paint mirrored the depth of their connection. As their love blossomed like the waves, every stroke told a story of intertwined destinies. However, when the brush left the canvas, it left behind a void, and the hues of longing lingered. Under the purple and vibrant sunset on the lake, passion ignited between two figures. The twilight hues, skillfully layered in oil, captured the warmth of their shared dreams. The paint, applied with deliberate intensity, mirrored the fiery sunsets that colored their evenings. Yet, as the brush moved on, the canvas bore witness to a love now tinged with the bittersweet shades of separation. Amidst the nocturnal canvas by the lake, the artist painted a dance beneath the full moon’s glow. The cool blues and grays depicted the quiet ripples of the water, setting the stage for an intimate connection. Each stroke, deliberate in its execution, wove a tale of love beneath the moonlit sky. Yet, when the brush finally rested, the incomplete masterpiece spoke volumes of a love story left hanging, painted with the thick layers of unspoken goodbyes. Each painting, done in one emotional sweep, captured the essence of these love stories, their vivid colors echoing the depth of feelings that lingered beyond the canvas.
Dunes Kiss
“Dunes Kiss” captures the essence of serenity and warmth in a captivating blend of light blue and yellow hues. As an observer The interplay of colors and the brushstrokes create an atmosphere where time seems to stand still, allowing the observer to immerse themselves in the beauty of the moment. As I gaze upon “Dunes Kiss,” I can almost hear the rhythmic whispers of the sea and feel the gentle embrace of the coastal breeze. It’s a painting that captures not just an image but an emotion, inviting the observer to share in the contemplative beauty of the seaside, where love and solitude dance together in harmony.
Embrace
“Embrace” evokes a breathtaking blend of purple and orange hues, capturing the essence of a poignant moment at sunset on the beach. As an observer before this enchanting painting, I find myself immersed in the warmth and intimacy portrayed on the canvas. The sun, depicted in rich shades of orange, begins its descent toward the horizon, casting a radiant glow upon the sandy shores. The sky transitions from a deep purple near the zenith to a fiery orange near the meeting point with the sea, creating a captivating backdrop for the central focus of the artwork. At the forefront, a couple is locked in a tender and heartfelt embrace. Their silhouettes are beautifully illuminated by the setting sun, casting elongated shadows across the sand. The purple and orange tones blend seamlessly, reflecting the transition from day to night and the deep emotional connection between the two figures. The waves gently kiss the shoreline, adding a soothing rhythm to the scene, while the couple’s embrace speaks of a love that withstands the changing tides of time. The artist skillfully captures the interplay of light and shadow, creating a sense of intimacy and warmth that resonates throughout the painting. “Embrace” is not just a visual spectacle; it’s a celebration of love against the backdrop of a captivating sunset. The melding of purple and orange hues creates a dreamlike atmosphere, inviting the observer to share in the beauty of this tender moment between two souls, eternally bound by the magic of love.
Full Moon Glow
In the quiet embrace of “Full Moon Glow,” the lone woman wades into the lake under the celestial radiance of the full moon. The dark blue tones surrounding her mirror the depth of emotions she carries, having bid farewell to her significant other. As the couple parts ways due to the necessity of relocation, the scene captures the poignant beauty of solitude against the vast canvas of the night. The departing partner, shrouded in the shadows of departure, leaves behind a void that echoes in the moonlit landscape. The contrasting yellow light of the full moon serves as a silent witness to their parting, casting a bittersweet glow on the waters. The woman’s solitary journey into the lake symbolizes both resilience and introspection. Each step is a quiet affirmation of strength amid the emotional currents. The dark blue surroundings encapsulate the depth of her emotions, while the moonlight gently caresses the ripples left in the wake of their shared moments. “Full Moon Glow” narrates a tale of transitions, where the moon becomes a companion in the absence of a human one. As the woman immerses herself in the reflective waters, the luminous path created by the moon offers solace and a gentle reminder that, even in separation, the beauty of the night sky is a shared experience between those connected by memories.
Summary of the collection
The artworks were drawn from imagination and the collection is an artistic exposure of a woman who feels alive when painting in nature and who goes with the flow of creative processes. In my artistic portfolio, I like to constantly challenging the public on the crucial role nature plays in human life. We can find in each works lines of rain or tears, whirlwinds of the wind blowing, suspended bubbles or even the stigmata of time flowing from the circles of life in colors that are sometimes dark or extremely shimmering or caressing.
